“Under a Lenten Moon” – A Virtual Wisdom Program with Bill Redfield

March 2, 2022 - April 16, 2022

It was Epicurus in the third century BCE who said, “The art of living well and the art of dying well are one.” But how might this reality be practically lived out…?

Through weekly recordings and optional Friday Zoom groups, this program will run through Lent (Ash Wednesday, March 2, 2022, through Holy Saturday, April 16, 2022). By juxtaposing some of the liturgical readings and themes of Lent with the invitations represented and reflected in the waning phases of the moon, we will be uncovering the responsibilities and opportunities in grief and grieving and death and dying. Rather than ending up being in any way morbid, this will lead to a life-giving freedom.

All the orienting information and recordings will be available on a password protected page for continued access. This provides a container for our work that will provide safety and respect.  Optional Zoom groups will be held on Fridays (9 am and 3 pm Eastern) to deepen the integration of the material and to create community.

There is no fee for this program; cost is by donation.
