Relax the muscles of the mouth: An Inner Task Series by Roberta Chromey

This week, try as much as possible to RELAX THE MUSCLES OF THE MOUTH during the day.

This week’s task from Mrs. Popoff, was the first one that stood out for me: Brush your teeth with your left hand (unless you usually brush with your left, then brush with your right.)

This week, Listen to the sound of your voice.

This week, again from Mrs. Popoff: Do everything as if it’s for the last time.

Following our work of sensing and coming into Presence as we pass through a doorway or threshold, we can focus more closely by sensing or being aware of our hand as we touch the door handle.

While the course is anchored in the original Mystical Hope book, it is not simply a rehash of that book. It combines the best moments in the original book with the growth that has unfolded in Cynthia over the years with the circumstances in which we now find ourselves personally and planetarily. It is a whole new course, rooted in the old, but directed toward the present and future.

Our task for this week is to be Present each time we walk through a doorway upon entering or leaving a room.

Through chant, poignant readings, practice, and silence Susan Latimer and Beth O’Neil guide us through a connective, contemplative experience of a Wisdom-infused Solstice gathering for our global community.

It is Advent and I am making bread, ingredients already at hand, one free mind, one open heart, one body, sensing.

In this recorded conversation, Cynthia introduces us to a Wisdom perspective and approach for exploring ‘evil,’ a topic she with expand on over the coming year.
