Vermont Wisdom Community
We are a small, relational circle of spiritual seekers rooted in contemplative practice. We gather to understand, nurture and strengthen the skills needed to embody a posture in the world grounded in passionate witness and skillful means. To “build inner stability for outer chaos”, we practice bringing the intelligences of the body, mind and heart into balance through teaching/discussion, sacred movement, chanting and lectio.
Our practices are grounded in the long heritage of the Christian mystical path as articulated by Cynthia Bourgeault and, at the same time, in dialogue with other Wisdom traditions such as Buddhism, Sufism, the Kabala and great thinkers in science, history, art and poetry.
Our Wisdom Circles meet currently on the zoom link below weekly on Mondays, 9-10am and Wednesdays, 10-11am. Monthly Wisdom Circles meet on the 1st Thursday of the month, 5-6:30pm and the 4th Monday of the month, 5-6:30pm.

Be in touch if you are interested in our weekly Sacred Listening Group. Sacred Listening is heart sharing in a small group within a formal listening practice with rotating leadership.
We welcome spiritual seekers of all paths. Our zoom community is made up of people from locations around the country. Occasionally we have “in-person” retreats attended by those more local.
