Know your conditioning so your heart can be a more faithful instrument.
~Cynthia Bourgeault
Join us as we come together and experience a practical engagement of the Wisdom lineage and the Enneagram. Our aim will be to rejoin the Enneagram with its Wisdom roots as we bring into focus the invitation to awakening that it offers in the context of inner work.
Utilizing the teachings of the Law of Three and the Law of Seven, we will harness the Enneagram’s dynamism, bearing in our collective body the creative work of transformation. Through presence we will ultimately discover the Enneagram as a map for opening ourselves to divine guidance in order to navigate, with more precision, courage and stability, the ongoing work of discernment in daily life.
We will follow a Wisdom School rhythm with meditation, sacred chanting, Lectio Divina, and physical movement. We will engage somatic and attention practices, exploring the Wisdom roots of the Enneagram, and tracking what jams the signals around our hearts. Together we will create a walking Enneagram and let this ancient symbol teach us. We will allow time to integrate, rest and explore the beauty of Valle Crucis.
The retreat begins Thursday August 11 with registration 3:30 ~ 5:30. We will share dinner and an opening session that evening. The retreat ends Sunday August 14 before lunch.
The cost of the retreat is $395 for a shared room and $250 for commuters. Cost includes all meals and lodging. Limited scholarship help is available. Due to limited numbers and the intimate size of the retreat center, after July 30, we can only offer a partial refund of $200.
