The Stream Beneath the World — in Honor of Those Walking the Wisdom Path

A Poem by Wisdom Community Member Ilka Fischer

There is a stream beneath the world,
a current soft and deep—
not found in noise or breaking news,
but in the hush we keep.

It flows through hearts both bruised and true,
where silence learns to sing,
and those who walk its quiet course
bring peace on unseen wings.

They do not shout, nor seek to lead
with power, pride, or fame—
they anchor love in aching soil
and tend a steady flame.

When fear runs high and hope runs thin,
when systems start to fray,
the Wisdom ones step gently in—
not to fix, but stay.

They breathe, they watch, they wait, they yield,
attuned to what is near—
the lay lines of a deeper care,
connection crystal-clear.

They know the work is not their own,
nor theirs to understand—
they offer simply open hearts
and consecrated hands.

So when the world begins to shake,
and all feels lost or grim—
look not for those who claim control,
but those who pray within.

Reflection:
In every age of upheaval, the Wisdom tradition rises quietly — not with slogans or spectacle, but with a deeper attunement to the whole.
This poem is offered in gratitude to all those who hold post in silence, who live from the heart, and who serve from the subtle field.

May we continue to deepen our collective presence, knowing that our smallest act of conscious love contributes to the whole.
