I have a history of depression (or Acedia) and want to use the Welcoming Practice. But I find it hard to find any physical signs of it with the exception of fatigue. It’s all in my head. Any advice?

Just be present to the fatigue. Sense it as it lives in your body, how it expresses itself in each region of you: not just head, but skin, back, posture, facial tension, in your solar plexus. You may be surprised at what discover there.
