Cynthia Bourgeaultwill reflect on Teilhard’s experience of Christ as person and what this meant to his understanding of an evolutionary process that draws us with hope into the future.

Teilhard’s mystical experience of the person of Christ radiating from the heart of “amorized” Matter and drawing all toward the future provided him with a source of profound hope for the future. In his major opus, The Human Phenomenon, Teilhard challenges Humanity to grow in ever greater levels of consciousness and to participate in the further personalization of the world.
