Parallel Wisdom Work Weekend

April 30 - May 4

We will gather at Claymont in the Spring of 2025 for an extended Work Weekend that will emphasize both contemplative practice and practical work on the Land. This aim of this event to explore, within a container of conditions set by the Gurdjieff Work, the collective intelligence of the community. What might emerge for a community gathering without a central spiritual teacher? What impulse will you yourself bring? What is energizing you in your own journey that you can offer the group? How do we open as a group to a higher intelligence? We will have inner exercises, movements, readings, themes, dialogue, music, practical work and space intentionally dedicated to contributions from the participants.

Each time we come together in person is a completely unique experience, like an artwork, which cannot be replicated. We work together to pose conditions for inner seeing and the cultivation of finer presence. Above all we are practical—we risk and we work hard, assisting one another.

This event is being held with a special invitation to individuals who participate in Andrew’s online work groups, but is open to all. The event is hosted by Parallel Group, a 501(c)3 formed to come alongside those seeking deeper meaning and purpose, and assist them in building a practical spiritual foundation that can be put to work in everyday life.
