When you pray,
enter your inner room and seal the door,
and send your prayer to the One Who is Unseen.
And the One Who Sees what is unseen shall restore you. — Matthew 6
From September 12-15 we will gather at Claymont for a Wisdom Work Week to explore the theme of strengthening our Inner Home. This overlaps with Cynthia’s ongoing theme this year of “Building Second Body.” We will have daily tasks, Exercises and Movements and discussion, as well as practical work, periods of rest, morning silences, chanting, and of course feasting tables and bonfires under the starry sky. This all within a stable container of sincere inner work and the joy of shared community coming together in person after so much zoom. We have the possibility to gather physically and so discover the mirror and edge and communion that this offers.
Suggested Contribution: $500 (Scholarship is available).
Arrive: Monday, September 12th anytime between 10 and 4pm. We will begin with a happy hour meeting at 5pm.
Depart: Thursday, September 15th after lunch.
Please note that Claymont is hosting a Movements weekend from the evening of Thursday September 15th through Sunday the 18th. This event will be a chance for those of you interested in learning more deeply about the Movements to spend dedicated time in this sacred pillar of Fourth Way work. Details for that event are forthcoming, and it will have its own fees and registration. However, our work in advance will help to prepare the ground for those who come. We are hopeful that many of you would choose to participate in both events. Those who participate in our wisdom work week may keep their room in the Mansion for both events and are guaranteed a place at the Movements Weekend. For more information and to register for the Movements event, please email Amy Silver at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please also note: Dulles is the nearest major airport, and just under an hour away from Claymont. Those flying can count on our event being finished by noon on Thursday the 15th, and the movements event being finished by noon on Sunday the 18th.
