Event Overview
At a time when people are yearning for good news yet may instead feel overwrought by these uniquely challenging times, Cynthia Bourgeault’s timeless book invites us to find our way to a hope that does not disappoint or fail. Mystical Hope shows us how to recognize this hope in our own lives, where it comes from, how to deepen it through prayer, and how to carry it into the world as a source of strength and renewal.

In this Foundational Wisdom Practice Book Circle, we will dive deeply into the gifts in Mystical Hope as we intentionally cultivate Wisdom knowing through:

  • Grounding in the practices of a Wisdom Circle
  • Supportive group discussions facilitated by seasoned Wisdom practitioners examining a few chapters a month
  • Mindful attentional practices/Inner Tasks
  • Meditation
  • Body movements and sacred gesture

This Wisdom Practice Book Circle is designed for seekers who want to cultivate a deeper connection with the Wisdom tradition which lies at the headwaters of all sacred paths. As we come together in community, seeking inspiration and practices for our awakening, we will leave with a felt sense of our deepening presence and how we can be of service in the world.

Event Details

When: The last Tuesday each month from August through November: Aug 27, Sept 24, Oct 29, Nov 26.

Where: Online via Zoom. Your circle facilitator will email the Zoom link prior to first meeting. Earbuds are suggested for clarity of hearing.
