We invite you to explore these resources made available to the community for the liturgical season of Holy Week and Eastertide. Let us deepen in Wisdom together during this time of reflection and reawakening.
Holy Week
As Holy Week begins, let us step into a sacred gathering where ancient rituals meet our present moment. Join us for an intimate Palm Sunday Contemplative Liturgy and Eucharist with Cynthia Bourgeault, Heather Ruce, and Henry Schoenfield to reflect upon and receive a Wisdom Eucharist as we open our hearts to the mystery of Christ’s passage through death. Online via Zoom on Sunday, April 13 from 4:00pm – 5:15pm ET, RSVP here.

Watch “Holy Week: A Cosmic Seeing,” an intimate set of four free video teachings conducted in Cynthia’s home as she weaves the Christian experience of Holy Week—in all its mystical splendors and theological challenges—with powerful reference points found in the Gurdjieff Work. Available here, free with a suggested donation.

Listen to “A Journey Through Holy Week: The Passion Libretto” and experience an original musical composition of Jesus’s Paschal self-oblation, portrayed not in the traditional mode of sacrificial lamb, but as an offering of conscious love. The original work is now out of publication, but Cynthia has made it available to the Wisdom web as an invitation for reflection, prayer, and meditation, individually and together, in the heart of God. Available here, free with a suggested donation.

Experience a Holy Week based in love not blame with Cynthia’s collection of Holy Week Liturgies, a project born out deep contemplative prayer and silence which centers the story of redemptive love and universal compassion. This volume offers a downloadable collection of chants, readings, rituals, and prayers to be used by individuals and groups. Available for purchase here.

Eastertide
Listen to Cynthia Bourgeault teach, in this new podcast with Marcella Kraybill-Greggo, about the ‘thin place’ that unfolds after Easter in the 40-days where Jesus offered his final teachings followed by the 10 days of expectant waiting before Pentecost (aka 50 days of Eastertide). In this lively conversation, Cynthia speaks to the importance of being present for this subtle season which creates a “significantly enhanced channel of immediate interface with realms more subtle than our eyes.” Listen to the podcast here.
Journey in community for the “Fifty Thin Days of Easter” as we deepen together during the fifty days between the Monday after Easter (April 21) and Pentecost (June 8). Participants will receive a daily Wisdom Spiritual Practice and have the opportunity to gather in community for teaching and Wisdom practice on zoom each Monday from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Eastern. An optional break out discussion group will also be offered each Monday 12:00 – 12:15pm ET. Learn more about the “Fifty Thin Days of Easter” journey via a free informational session on April 4th at 2pm.
