End of the Year Greetings to Our Wisdom Community: A Letter From the Chair of the Board

Dear friends,

Thank you for your loving words and heartfelt prayers after my recent letter to you in early October. My parents and I have returned to Asheville, where significant recovery from Hurricane Helene is still in progress. After close to six weeks away from home, we are gratefully settling into a “new normal.”

I write today freshly inspired by our annual in-person Wisdom Waypoints Board meeting which happened last week.  Your voices were at the table with us, through the survey from late summer, and your feedback helped shape our plans for the coming year. As we organize and digest the energy and ideas from that meeting, I have the image of setting a holiday table for our community. It is full of abundance, joy, and nourishment. There is meaningful conversation, ease of connection and a variety of choices. All are welcome and the meal we share sustains and energizes us as we go back out into the world.

Your end of year gift, no matter the amount, will be a contribution to the meal we will be eating together this year. Your gifts are essential for bringing the Food we share. As you imagine that table with me, I’ll share some of our practical hopes and dreams for 2025.

  • Build on our steady cadence of community practices and connection
  • Create opportunities for guided learning and deepening in Wisdom
  • Offer unique learning paths for new seekers and longtime students
  • Increase access to free and affordable teachings from Cynthia
  • Invest in our technology infrastructure to support these aims

As many other requests for end-of-year giving flood your inboxes, we invite you to partner with us. Each gift contributes to the whole and is deeply appreciated.

Join me at the table this year.

In gratitude,

Jeanine Siler Jones
