Join us for a Wisdom Community Practice Half Day event focused on the theme of “metis” often known as cunning or shrewdness. Cynthia Bourgeault reminds us that when, instead of using this quality to advance our own self-interest, we use metis to create compassionate skillful action — it transforms into imaginal cunning. Metis becomes our capacity to take effective, well-timed, well-seen, decisive, appropriate action in a moment based on three-centered awareness.
This Wisdom Community Practice Half Day will be facilitated by Heather Ruce with help from Andrew Breitenberg and Nan Delach. The event will include embodied Wisdom practices, a new recorded teaching from Cynthia Bourgeault on accessing metis, and an optional conscious conversation. This gathering is for anyone wanting to engage Wisdom practices with others, not only for ourselves and one another, but on behalf of the world.
